Top Ten Tuesday: Ten Brilliant Books That Need the Red Carpet Treatement

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature that is hosted by  Artsy Reader Girl’s Top Ten Tuesday. This week was a choice based on books and TV/Movie. I chose 10 books I love that need to become a Movies.

six of crues

Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom

Don’t talk to me about Netflix cramming all five books that make sup Shadow and Bone plus the Six of Crows Duology into eight episodes. This worries more and more with each passing day. Not the same. These books deserve their own, separate due.

The Queen of Nothing (The Folk of the Air Book 3) by [Black, Holly]

The Folk of The Air Series

I would say this series would do well on HBO until I saw episode five of Game of Thrones. No one needs to become the Mad Queen…

Scythe (Arc of a Scythe)

The Arc of the Scythe Trilogy (Third Book- The Toll Out November 5th)

Where there’s a will…. there might just be a way? See the link above! The Thunderhead might just get his day in the theaters via Universal Pictures. And if it happens, I am there for it! One favor, just one? Please leave the Arch alone, eh?

This Is Where It Ends

This is Where it Ends

Another one that might have some legs to the rumor (see the link). This is Where it Ends was timely when it came out and unfortunately for all of us remains just as timely now. It is also brilliantly written and leaves readers wrecked. A movie would undoubtedly do the same.

Allegedly

Allegedly, Monday’s Not Coming and Let Me Hear a Rhyme

If you didn’t see this coming you weren’t paying attention. And yes. All three books need to be optioned. NOW. If you need to know why, click the link. I humbly laid it all for everyone.

For a Muse of Fire

I can’t wait to get my hands on Kingdom for a Stage but I’m going to safely assume it will live up to the series debut. Between the stunning visuals and the bi-polar representation and epic story telling? This series is ripe for the big screen.

They Both Die at the EndThey Both Die At the End

Don’t come at me with the cheating thing. First, it is a series not a movie. Second, it JUST happened. I wanted this to happen since I first read the book when it first came out. So no it isn’t cheating. I’m just really happy HBO picked it up. As long as no one goes on a fire breathing Dragon killing spree.

With three books under Tiffany Jackson – that is 10 books I love that should be movies. — Do you agree? Disagree? What books do you wan to see become movies?
